Start: Ayala Cove, Angel Island State Park, CA Directions to and Parking in Tiburon.

Course: Angel Island is a hilly, grass- and forest-covered island that provides spectacular views of Marin County, San Francisco, and the Golden Gate. Trails and roads circle the entire island and climb Mount Livermore. Bring the whole family and enjoy a post-run picnic at beautiful Ayala Cove. (Distances are accurately measured using a Rolatape® surveyor's measuring wheel.)

Lodging: Hotels/Motels, Camping

Packet Pick-Up: 7:00 a.m. - 7:50 a.m. at Tiburon

Ferry Ride: 7:50 a.m. at Tiburon. Round-trip ferry ride cost is $10.25 and is not included in your entry fee. Ferry returns hourly at 20 minutes past the hour.

Time Limit: There is an 8 hour time limit and a 6 hour 30 minute cut-off at 40 Km for the 50 Km event.

Aid Stations: Fully-stocked aid stations every 8 - 9 kilometers. You can expect fresh fruit, salty snacks, assorted candy, boiled potatoes & salt, water, and Conquest sports drink. However, it is highly recommended that runners carry at least 20 oz. of water between aid stations. Photo

Awards: T-shirts will be given to all finishers. While awards are given to the first female and male finishers, PCTR events are designed to be non-competitive, encourage the enjoyment of trail running, and emphasize personal achievement.

PCTR Discount:

5% - If you have entered at least 3 PCTR events, please deduct 5% from this entry.
