Special thanks to all of our volunteers, park personnel, family members and especially the runners who made the Armstrong Redwoods Trail Run such a success! Runners generally reported that the trails were technical and among the most challenging. We are planning to keep this an intimate sized event, please keep this in mind for your next year trail run. Congratulations to you all who experienced this inaugural event.
Our next trail run is on Mt. Diablo on June 2 with 8 km, 25 km and 50 km distances. Enjoy the ever-changing terrain and sweeping panoramic views from the summit and highest point in the Bay Area. This is a great trail to test your limits or help you prepare for other events through the year. Elevation gains: 8 km 1,170'; 25 km 4,450' and 50 km 8,900'.
