Start: Joaquin Miller Park, 3600 Joaquin Miller Road, Oakland, CA 94602. Directions

Course: The course travels through beautiful Joaquin Miller Park to Redwood Regional Park. Enjoy the spectacular views of the Oakland Hills and Bay Area along the way. The three longer events wind through tall redwoods on the popular French Trail and return on Golden Spike and West Ridge trails. Photos (Distances are accurately measured using a Rolatape® surveyor's measuring wheel.)

9 Km - 930 ft.

20 Km - 2,220 ft.

30 Km - 3,180 ft.

50 Km - 5,400 ft.

Weather: Oakland

Packet Pick-Up: 7:30 a.m. - 8:15 a.m. adjacent to Joaquin Miller Park.

Time Limit: There is an 9-hour time limit for the 50 Km distance.

Aid Stations: Fully-stocked aid stations every 5 - 11 kilometers. You can expect fresh fruit, salty snacks, assorted candy, boiled potatoes & salt, water, and Conquest sports drink. However, it is highly recommended that runners carry at least 20 oz. of water between aid stations. Photo

Awards: T-shirts will be given to all finishers. While awards are given to the first female and male finishers, PCTR events are designed to be non-competitive, encourage the enjoyment of trail running, and emphasize personal achievement. In addition, we will give away Vasque trail shoes to individuals in recognition of their efforts, accomplishments, or sportsmanship - or for just having "serious fun".

PCTR Discount:

5% - If you have entered at least 3 PCTR events, please deduct 5% from this entry.
